Maybe not this blog but a blog somewhere.

I think it is so interesting to think of life as a bunch of moments where we are continuously asked to accept what is before us and keep moving forward with the true reasons or motivations/rules of the creator (however, you define it: physics, god, other) being hidden as best as possible.

Interesting stuff.Brian Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834943644766252991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1826165901815657050.post-55182679796757775572011-05-11T18:09:38.341-07:002011-05-11T18:09:38.341-07:00Don't get too excited, it's just me...
Vi...Don't get too excited, it's just me...

Video Games are like those Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books we used to read as kids, where some of the choices lead to dead ends. Only one set of choices gets you all the way to the end of the book.

I'm curious if there are any video games (to your knowledge) that have truly alternate endings? If you make a particular choice somewhere in the middle of the game, it leads you to an entirely different ending than if you were to make the opposite choice at that point in the game. I'm not just talking where "you chose a poor strategy for fighting a boss and therefore you die now" choice, I mean a true alternate ending.

I'm thinking most RPG games are sort of like this, but are there any typical play through from beginning to end games that are?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
